MarkerPop’s New Design Team Leader

Hi everyone!  Today I have a happy, but bittersweet announcement to make. It is happy because it means HUGE THINGS for my little stampy business. But it is bittersweet because I have loved working with MarkerPop. You may have noticed that I haven’t been posting projects over on the MarkerPop blog for the past couple of weeks. Well, that’s because I have been working behind the scenes to assist their new Design Team Leader!

I have been the design team leader at MarkerPOP! for nearly 3 years, and I have seriously loved every single minute of it. Over the years, I have had the pleasure to work with some of the most talented Copic artists around. I’ve been so lucky to be able to share my passion with you and it is with a heavy heart that I am leaving my position at MarkerPOP!. MarkerPOP! is one of my little babies. I started their design team, helped grow their social media, and tried my best to help them succeed. I loved watching them grow & I loved being a part of it.

When I started my own little stamp company, SP & Company, I never in my wildest dreams thought that it would become what it has become. Because my business has grown so much over the past months, I must leave my other crafty positions, and that means saying goodbye to my position at MarkerPOP!.  Y’all have kept me SO BUSY and I am so grateful to be able to take care of my customers & even more grateful that I even have customers! LOL If only there were more hours in the day! 😉

Even though I am leaving their wonderful team, have no fear! There is a wonderful and talented woman who has graciously stepped up to take my place. It is with honor that I get to introduce your new MarkerPOP! Design Team Leader, Kelli!

Kelli does absolutely stunning work and I don’t think I could have picked a better DT Leader to take my place. She’s organized and driven so I know that she will continue on making sure that you have quality inspiration and the best design team so that you can still visit MarkerPOP! every day.

Also, MarkerPOP! is having a design team call right now, so I encourage you to try out for their amazing team. It is such a great team to work with. Click here to see the design team call details now.

I may be leaving this design team, but I am still a MarkerPOP! FANATIC & a Copic enthusiast FOR LIFE!I will continue posting Copic projects here on Mondays & be sure to subscribe to my Copic youtube channel because I will be posting more videos over there during the weeks once I get used to my new daily blogging schedule. I will continue to link to products in the MarkerPOP! store because I believe in their company and I will be purchasing from them still.

As for SP & Company Stamps, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!! I have had giant sized plans since day 1, but only a pauper sized budget (ZERO debt company with a hubby in grad school full time. Enough said, right?). I’ve been planning and planning for the past two years, and in a matter of months/weeks some of these plans are finally going to be able to be put into action!! I cannot wait to share more new products, new stamps, and new other stuffs with you!

  1. So happy for you Sami! That is wonderful news!! I’m sure they will have you back as a guest designer from time to time!! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us! 2013 is going to be your year!!

  2. Congrats on your growing business. You now what they say, “Where one door closes, another window opens.” Although it sounds like you are the one opening and closing these opportunities! Amazing!

    1. Thank you so much. It has been crazy how quickly things have been happening lately. I will miss being on the MP team, but I know it is the right thing for my customers and for my company.
      Hugs,
      Sami
