Snow Day Courthouse Wedding Layout

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday!!

My scrapbook layout for today is another layout I made for our wedding album. Our two year wedding anniversary was earlier this week and I have way too many photos left to scrapbook. I told myself I was going to get this album finished in a reasonable amount of time, but turns out it just never happened! LOL. Did you scrap your wedding photos? If so, how long did it take you to finish the album?? Please tell me I am not the only major slacker out there.

So for this layout, I used the December SP Monthly Kit, which included the Love Story Echo Park collection plus the SP & Company Tiny Build a Banner stamp set. I combined the two to create this layout.

I first cut the ticket border sticker element in half and attached it to the sides of the layout creating a kind of frame effect. I outlined the ticket border with a Silver Spica glitter pen.

I used another border element alongside the patterned papers I used behind the photos.

The center photo is 3.5inches square and the other two photos are 3inches square.

I created the title with some foam Thickers I had in my stash plus the tiny alphas from the Love Story collection kit.

Underneath the title, I added a date using a Smash Date Roller Stamp. It didn’t actually stamp the year completely so I went over it with the Lipstick Spica glitter pen & I also added the word “married” to the inside of the box.

Then I used the Silver Spica glitter pen to create a line for my banner stamps to fit onto. I alternated two of the Tiny Build a Banner stamps along the line to create my banner border.

To finish off the layout, I added a journaling shape and a tiny hearts border next to the photos. Both sticker element were also from the Love Story collection kit.
