Hey everyone! Sorry I didn’t get a chance to share a project yesterday.
If you are over on the SP Facebook page, you will see I have been hard at work lately behind the scenes getting ready to release some new stuff. And if you aren’t our fan, please come over and Like us!! Currently, I am neck deep in design work, product samples, and swatches. It is a little hectic trying to get everything all coordinated. I’m starting to feel like a real business lady 😉
Get ready to get your crafty mojo flowing! This week I have a great little color combo to share. At first, I wasn’t completely sure about this color combo, but now I am in love with it!! The colors just WORK to nicely together. I really can’t wait to see what you do with it!
Also, there is no winner to announce this week because the SP Trends challenge is still underway. Click here to play along with SP Trends #3!

Our SP Color Combo rules are simple:
*SP & Company Stamps are required on your project. Don’t own any of our fabulous stamps yet? Well, then head to the store and check us out! Our stamps start at $1.99! We also offer a couple of freebie digital stamps as well so everyone can play along.
*Projects must be NEWLY CREATED just for our challenge (no backlinking & please link to us so we know you are really playing along).
Here’s how I created my card:
I did some clear embossing on the aqua cardstock (that is why my card looks a little wonky in the photos). If I were to do this again, I would do the embossing on a separate layer and then attach it to my card base.
I colored Sunshine Emma in Monday’s speed coloring video (click here!).
The patterned papers are from the Sweet Girl collection kit from Echo Park, which is part of our February SP Kit.
To finish off the card, I cut out the little sun from the Sunshine Emma stamp set and attached a pretty epoxy brad from My Mind’s Eye to the card. This section was popped up with a Pop Up Glue Dot.
This cute sentiment is also from the same stamp set.
Now, dive in and see what you can come up with! One winner will be chosen at random to receive an assortment of lovely 6×6 patterned papers! Entries are due Tuesday, February 19th at NOON EST.
