Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!! Again, it is Scrapbook Saturday here at SP. I think you will be surprised because I did something on this layout that I normally don’t do. . . I went NO STAMPING on this layout. Yep, not even one little stamped word or image! Crazy town huh? Anyway, I think you will still like it. And I included plenty of other SP goodness on this one. Let’s get right to it!
Here’s my layout. Details are below.
|The layout looks a little wonky, but the patterned papers really are straight. LOL!|
I was inspired by a layout I found on Pinterest. The original “pinner” had only pinned the main Lilybee blog and not the actual blog post so I didn’t find the original designer by digging through the entire blog. If it is yours, let me know!
This page was made using lots of Echo Park A Perfect Summer goodies too. I started with the patterned papers from the April SP monthly kit. The May kits are shipping out soon so be sure to sign up if you aren’t already signed up. The SP Kit Clubbers are generally very excited to get their kits 🙂
The “summer” tab, v-stripe red border, red dot border, and the tiny heart banner are all element stickers that were included in the April SP monthly kit as well.
I added a few elements from the A Perfect Summer Chipboard shapes (the other two hearts pieces and the water swirl).
The sun came from the layered stickers in the same collection.
Since my little Emma was jumping for the bubbles, I decided to add in some “bubbles” by adding the Aqua SeaGlass buttons.
Near the top left I added a few banners that were made with some Coordinations glitter paper and the Big Build a Banner 2 Die Tools. I attached some A Perfect Summer decorative brads and brought the whole banner element together with some aqua Divine Twine.
The title was made with some small glitter alphas that have been in my stash forever. These are from Doodlebug Designs “Candy Shoppe” collection.
The larger alphas have also been in my stash forever too. These are glitter chipboard Thickers from American Crafts.
I did a little bit of journaling on some grey card stock strips and then called it done.
Here are some additional photos:
What do you hoard the most?? For me it seems to be alphas!! I can’t get enough alphas ever!! Any time we head to a big box craft store, I tend to leave with at least a couple pretty little alpha sets. Love them & then never use enough of them!
