Hi everyone! Happy Monday!!
Well my Monday started out very strangely. I knew I had three ALMOST finished Copic projects already planned out for today and the next two Mondays.
The only thing I had left to do was film myself coloring the Copic image. The rest of the card was done. So I had every intention of waking up early, filming, and getting a project posted for y’all. . .
And a couple of hours after I was awake, I STILL hadn’t found my projects!! I spent the morning looking for them and although it is the afternoon now, I still haven’t located my 3 mostly finished projects. ARGH!! Isn’t that strange?! I remember making projects and forgetting to blog about them, but I don’t recall ever actually LOSING a project. . . and today I lost 3!
Luckily, I had a backup project, I just had to work on all the store orders first. Now, I’m caught up from the weekend 😉 My project to share for today is also a Copic project, but I was saving this one as an extra project.
I have been prepping behind the scenes getting LOTS of projects made because I want to get way ahead on projects before our big move (no news on that yet, but soon I hope!). I have just been making a some extra projects every week and stashing them for moving time. This is one of them.
I am pretty sure I filmed myself coloring this one, but I will save that video for another day since I am already so behind today.
This project features the absolutely adorable Beach Girl stamp from the Gill Roberts Collection. I just love this image and I love the sand, and shells, and just everything about it! I have an idea on how to make the sandy part extra neat. Maybe I will do that on an upcoming tutorial.
All the patterned papers I used for this one are from the Echo Park Splash paper pad. I just loved that rainbow stripe paper so I pulled my Copic colors from that paper.
The sentiment is one from the Summer Fun sentiments mini stamp set. I stamped it in Aqua SeaGlass ink onto some vanilla paper. It looked very ocean-y. I added a couple of enamel dots from My Mind’s Eye on there too.
I finished the card off with a little scallop border and that was it.
Well that’s all for now! If I can find those 3 missing projects, I will be using them for our next 3 Copic Mondays. Otherwise, I am going to be getting majorly crafty over the next couple of days catching up 😉
Have you ever “misplaced” a crafty project??
Oh, one last thing. The comments have been switched back. Hopefully you can leave comments again!
