Hi everyone! Happy Scrapbook Saturday! I know it is now summertime, but when I was de-stashing recently, I came across some Winter Fun collection papers and I HAD to use them. I have a wintery card coming up next week also. I super love this collection!!
This layout was fun to put together because of all the little goodies strung up on the twine. I just love that look. Here is my layout:
The background paper for this layout is some textured Kraft cardstock I had in my stash. I decided to decorate it with inking and stamps. On Tuesday, I have more info about inking up papers for Tutorial Tuesday.
The snowflakes were stamped in Aqua SeaGlass and Ocean Waves Premium Chalk Inks. These colors are beautiful for wintery layouts like this. Those gorgeous snowflakes are from the Christmas Medley stamp set.
I started my hanging elements with the Cappuccino Twine from The Twinery. I attached it with Micro Glue Dots (they are 1/8inch so tiny). Then I added the following elements:
- First I made some larger banners out of some larger paper scraps from the Winter Fun collection.
- Then I used the largest Polaroid Frame Die Tool to frame my photo of my pups Skye and Bella playing in the snow. My husky girls LOVE the snow.
- I made a bunch of little banners and scallop banners using the Big Build a Banner 1 and Big Build a Banner 2 Die Tools Sets. Each die tools set (1, 2 and 3) contains 4 different banner shapes.
- To finish it off I added some sticker elements from the Winter Fun collection along with some Sandcastle buttons and an Aqua SeaGlass button.
The “Winter” in the title was made with tiny alphas included in the collection. The larger alphas are fabric Thickers from American Crafts.
Here are some closer photos of the layout:
And that was it! I will have a fun Sunday Scoop for you tomorrow! I hope you liked it and I will catch ya later.
