Wish Big Lollipop Holder

Hi everyone! Happy 3D Thursday!

Today I have a super duper simple 3D project that was designed to work with a tiny little lollipop. This is a Yummy Earth Organic lollipop.

I made the wrapper out of a half a sheet of 6×6 patterned paper so you can make two of these with one sheet of a paper pad (or 8 from a 12×12).  It would be easy to crank out a bunch of these for party favors, small gifts to hand out (a classroom or office party!), or to put on a food tray/table at a party.

These are SO easy, I didn’t even need to make a scoring guide. You just need a few simple instructions.  If you use a different sized sucker, you can just adjust the dimensions to suit your needs.

STEPS:

  1. Cut patterned paper to 3x6inches.
  2. Score at 2.5, 3, and 3.5inches.
  3. Fold at score lines in a zig zag pattern so that the longest parts end up together. (see photo).
  4. Insert lollipop and punch holes on both sides of the stick. Tie with twine.
  5. Decorate as desired!

To decorate my lollipop wrapper:
The patterned paper I used is from the Away We Go paper pad from My Mind’s Eye.

I stamped the Wish BIG sentiment from the Birthday Family stamp set from the Gill Roberts collection that’s new to SP and Company. I stamped it in Sandcastle Premium Chalk Ink.

This twine is Mandarin twine from The Twinery.

Easy huh? 🙂  Well, I will be back tomorrow with another project. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a great day!
