Hello! It’s 3D Thursday and I have a cute little gift card set to share with you. This would be a great set to give out for a birthday present or occasion.
The scoring guide & project details are below.
My project was inspired by this cute little stamp, Party Girl from the Gill Roberts collection. I decided that I wanted to use her on a gift so I came up with this mini card organizer set.
I colored Party Girl in with Copics (will have a speed coloring video for you another day). Party Girl is one of those extra special single stamps because she comes with a bonus sentiment!! I try to squeeze in sentiments when there is any extra room next to our stamps 🙂
The sentiment is actually one long line “Happy Happy Birthday”. I just made the sentiment go onto two lines by making a cut between the second Happy and the Birthday. I know cutting stamps is scary, but with sentiments, it can really give you SO MUCH versatility! I’ve done this a few times and never regretted it so far. You should try it!!
The holder ties closed with a bow & then on the inside there are two pockets. One pocket to hold the mini cards and one pocket to hold the envelopes.
I actually didn’t make the envelopes this time because we are in our temp housing and I am trying to conserve what little cardstock I brought! LOL Before handing one of these gifts out, I suggest ya make those envelopes 😉
The mini cards are 4inches square.
To decorate the outside of the box, I used patterned papers from the June SP Monthly kit, which included the Beautiful Life collection.
The ties were made with some pink Chevron Twill ribbon. I just attached them between the outside box and the patterned paper so that they would stay connected & you wouldn’t see the ends.
Here’s the inside:
And that was it. This is one of my more complicated 3d Items, but only because of the ribbon ties. Other than that, I think it was pretty simple. The scoring guide for this is available in the SP Store as a free printable, click here!
Thanks for stopping by today and I will see ya later!
