Hi everyone! Gosh can you believe it is already June?! This year has really flown by. I always love June because it’s my birthday month 🙂
It’s Scrapbook Saturday so I have a layout I made using the May SP Monthly kit. This layout is of my darling little Emma girl! This is one of my fave photos of her. If you look closely, you can see that she has only one eye (she lost the other one a couple years back due to a traumatic injury that lead to glaucoma in that eye). Sometimes I forget she is my little one-eyed baby, but I still think she is one of the most adorable pups!!
I was actually inspired by this “Sweet Happy Moments” journaling card that was on one of the 12x12s included in the SP Monthly kit, which included the Here & Now Echo Park collection plus the Happy Moments Journaling Cards stamp set.
This title shape was a full rectangle pattern, but I loved the arrow type of design on the card and decided to cut the card apart to use that shape. It lined up perfectly with my photo so I used them together and then matted that whole layer.
I used two stamps from the new Happy Moments Journaling Cards stamp set. Can you spot them both? I used the date stamps right under the title and then I used the “This Makes Me Happy” next to the photo. This stamp set was also included in our May kit.
I created a banner using the Build a Banner 3 stamp set and die tools set. I stamped them alternating with Flamingo Pink and Clown Fish Premium Chalk Inks. Then I attached Flamingo Pink and Clown Fish buttons to kind of string them across the layout.
At the bottom of the photo, I used some white paper flowers and stamped them with the Medium Polka Dots stamp. I used Aqua SeaGlass, Clown Fish, and Flamingo Pink Premium Chalk Inks. I added some SP buttons to the flower centers & in the center flower, I used some SP Flair from the Clown Fish Color Basics pack.
The background paper is one of the solid papers from the Here & Now collection, Pink/Yellow.
And that was it!
Here are some close-up shots:

I hope you were inspired to get crafty this weekend. What have you created lately?
