Swatch Book Tutorial with SP Die Tools

Hey everyone!Happy Monday! It is Ghosts and Goblins week here at SP, but today’s tutorial has nothing to do with that. Today we are talking swatch books.  I am a big fan of anything that helps me keep track of my supplies & swatch books are no exception.I decided to create a swatch book of my ink pads since I recently ordered some from ClearSnap. We will be stocking ClearSnap inks shortly. I will have more details on that later.

For now, I have a video showing you my swatch book that I created with our new die tool sets Stitched Journaling Card & Arrows Die Tools Set  and the Journaling Card & Elements Die Tools Set.

spooky

I hope you like it!

The V-stripe arrow stamp from the Chevrons & Arrows Elements mini stamp set was perfect for making my ink swatches. I fit 3-4 inks to a side.

I didn’t mention this in the video, but I also kept my inks in rainbow order. All the blues stayed together, all the greens stayed together, etc. That way I can just flip to the color section I need.

What else would be good in a swatch book?

  1. I love having swatches and note together in one place when I go shopping for supplies. It’s so disappointing to come home and find you have duplicates!
Thanks for sharing your neat little book idea! 🙂
