Sledding Penguins Airbrush Card

Hi everyone!I’ve got another Christmas card to share for Christmas Cards Week. I will have one more to share with you tomorrow too πŸ™‚ Let’s get started!

For today’s Christmas card, I pulled out my Copic airbrush and created some snow. Now that I have a room with lots of electrical outlets, I can leave my airbrush system out.

The precious image I used is the Penguins Sledding stamp. This stamp is from the Gill Roberts collection. I thought these little guys were just the cutest little things.

The patterned papers I used were from the Tis the Season collection from Echo Park, which was part of the September SP Monthly Kit. I rounded the corners on the bottom with my Corner Chomper.

I used a sentiment from the Oh Christmas Tree stamp set that was also included in the September SP Monthly Kit.

To finish off the card, I added some Blue Lagoon buttons.

And that’s it! I really like the layout of this card. What do ya think?

  • Have you linked up yet for Christmas Cards week? There’s still time πŸ™‚
  • How many holiday cards do you usually make each year?
  • What is your favorite beverage?

  1. I have a couple of videos showing various airbrushing techniques. Airbrushing is one of my favorite things!! I’ve never had enough plug-ins in my scraproom until now so I will be using it a whole lot more now that I can leave it out all the time.

  2. EEK, I am sorry, I don’t think I wrote them down this time. I can tell you the approx colors I used just because I recognize some of colors. For the pinks, I used the R81-85 colors. For the grays and black areas I used the Toner Grays (T). The teal looks like BG09. I am not sure about the airbrushed snow. Maybe BG10 or BG11. Hope that helps you out some.

  3. So cute!! Love that stamp! I’ve linked up a Christmas card. I need to make a LOT more…a store that sells my cards has nearly wiped out what I had made all year long already. My favorite drink….iced tea (or red wine). πŸ˜€
