Today is the LAST DAY of our big Fall & Halloween Clearance Sale. Be sure to head to the SP Store & don’t miss out on some steals.
For today’s project I created a card to go along with the gift tag. These could be given to the same person & then their card and gift would perfectly coordinate! Ah, I love it! It’s just all matchy matchy 🙂
SHHH! This is actually one of my Christmas gifts! Hubby & I were out when we ran across this book in the bargains section of a book store. Well, I had JUST been talking about learning to bake bread (ya know, not with a bread machine, I can already do that). So we got it.
So yeah, I wrap my own gifts. Do you?
GIFT SET DETAILS
This is another one of the Library Tags I cut out using the Silhouette Cameo & a stock Silhouette shape. You can see my other tag from yesterday by clicking here!
With this tag, I wanted to make it more vintagey so I inked it up with lots of red ink using the Tim Holtz ink applicator.
For the tag, I added a scallop border along the patterned paper strip.
The ribbon is Red Chevron Twill Ribbon.
I also used some Flax colored twine from The Twinery for both pieces.
This snowflake die cut & the gingerbread man are both from the same SVG set from Miss Kate Cuttables, called Baking Up Memories. There is a matching Flair set in the SP Store & I used one of the flair pieces on the card.
On the gift tag, I added a Sandcastle colored SP Button to the bow.
The sentiment on the card is from the Latte Art Cocoa Additions mini stamp set.
I added some enamel dots from my stash to jazz up the card a bit more. I added some Stampin’ UP dots to create the little gingerbread guy’s little buttons.
And that was it! I really like how this gift set came out. I really like the red/white/brown color combo.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Don’t forget to check out the last day of our big sale! See you soon!!
