About Jennifer’s Project
This joyous reindeer is bursting with buttons! You just have to give this new technique a try! I created my own patterned buttons by attaching patterned paper to the back of clear buttons!
To create this fun background, I heat embossed Fancy Snowflakes over Gelatos and Glimmer Mist. STEPS: I applied Gelatos to cardstock and went over it with a wet paintbrush to blend, Spritzed with Glimmer Mist. Once dry, I heat embossed snowflakes with white embossing powder. Finally I added gems, twine bow, and printed sentiment.
This is my technique that I am sharing today. It is Ink Distressed Paper and it is very effective. I cut a piece of computer paper to the size I require. I scrunch it into a very tight ball then flatten it out. I then run a Tim Holtz Ink pad over the paper then spray it with water and a scoop of Tim Holtz Pearlescent powder. The Ink then bleeds so let it dry.
Voila! Ready to use.
You don’t need a lot of embellishments when you have a lot of texture on your card. This Santa set if perfect for adding all kinds of texture-y fun, from flocking on his beard to Glossy Accents on his boots!
