HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my American friends! I hope that your festivities are wonderful & you get time to spend with the ones you love. This Thanksgiving it’s just going to be hubby & me, but I am still really excited to have our first Thanksgiving in our new home together. What are you most thankful for?
To make today’s video, I decided to finally pull out my Envelope Punch Board and start making some envelopes. There are some major issue with some of the envelope measurements so I figured out how to make a really good standard sized envelope using this tool. It was a lot of fuss to try and figure it out so I’m sharing those measurements to hopefully save you some time & paper!
I also had some difficulty using this tool because I am a lefty 🙂 I figured out a way to make this tool work easier for me & I also shared that in the video.
ENVELOPE DIMENSIONS FOR 4.25×5.5 (A2) sized card:
Paper: 8 & 1/16inch square
Score @ 3.5inches
This leaves like a 1/16 to 1/8inch margin around the edges of the card so that the card fits in easily, but there’s no huge gap that looks funky!
All in all, I am really pleased with this tool & now that I have the A2 envelope measurements correct, I know I am going to be using this tool a lot! I hope you enjoyed today’s video & I will see you tomorrow!
