My Planner Mini Series: To Do’s, Monthly, Daily, & Weekly Calendars

Hey everyone!

Welcome to another segment of the My Planner mini series. Today, I am talking all about to do lists, calendars, and daily planning. My system is super simple, but that’s what I feel that makes it so good. It is easy and that makes it super easy to keep up with. I need things to be easy to maintain or I know I will get too lazy to keep doing it. Simplicity is my new motto for 2014 & I take it to my planner also.

In this video, I show you exactly what I have been doing so far this year & I absolutely love my system so far. If I hadn’t purchased this 2014 planner from Walgreen’s my system could actually be even more streamlined & easier. Having the two different books is a tiny bit more complicated, but I am going to do it for this year. Next year, I plan on using the printables that I had already designed before I received the Walgreen’s planner.

Here’s the video:

  1. Hi, I was attempting to purchase the monthly calendar; however it keeps saying not available. Is there a place I can get the printable?

    Thanks,
    Melonie

  2. Hi Sami,

I love your videos and your products! I just got my order of stamps and dies from you and I am thrilled! Can’t wait to use them.

You have mentioned in your video a bit about productivity. Would you mind sharing if you read a good book in the subject, or if you got the info from a blog? I always think I waste a lot if time and could be a lot more productive, but I don’t know where to start. Any info would be much appreciated.

Keep up the good work, we love it!
    Laura.

    1. I’ve been trying to soak up as much info I can about productivity and time management. If you search for something like productivity blogs a bunch of stuff pops up. I don’t have any blogs I recommend but I do have a book that I recommend called Work Less, Make More http://tinyurl.com/mv33485 . It’s about working more effectively and making more of whatever it is that you desire (money, downtime, family time, vacation time, etc). For me it was family time. It really helped me get out of my overwhelm rut & make decisions on how to spend my time more effectively without worrying about all the little tasks that really aren’t productive or useful. It is a little bit hokey in the way it presents the info at times, but the tools that it gives are pretty good!
