Organized Project Life: PL Planning & My Method

Hi everyone!

I’m back today with another part in the Organized Project Life mini series.

Project Life Process Explanation by

Today I am talking all about keeping myself organized during Project Life documenting & my process I am going to be trying to keep up with from week to week. I talked about it all in the video below.

The week by week 2014 printed sheet can be found here.

In the video, I also shared my Cover/Front page and my first actual page in my book. I will share all the details about my first actual page next week when I cover printing on Project Life Journaling Cards.

I created my Cover (or Front) page using journaling cards from the Blush Edition Core Kit. To decorate it, I used a mixture of alphas that I had in my stash. It included some embossed label stickers from K & Company, some pink & white glitter foam Thickers from American Crafts, some Echo Park Photo Freedom Alphas, and some Basic Gray alphas.

I added a 4×4 photo & many 2×2 photos. I cover my photo printing process tomorrow. This actually took a bit of planning out.

To mat the photos, I used some patterned paper from Crate Paper. The little dots are from Stampin’ UP.

So I wanted to keep my process as simple as possible so that I can keep up with my Project Life album from week to week.

I feel like I will be able to keep up with the day to day journaling part because I always refer to my planner so having the planning pages in the planner will really help me keep up.

I wanted to note, if you punch the planner pages on the other side (with the To Do list & Thurs-Sunday showing up with holes punched on the left hand side of that page) then you can have one week of project life showing in your planner/binder when you open up the page. I decided to punch mine on the left of the side with Mon-Wed & the protectors design because I wanted all my info for one week on ONE single paper. You could totally do it either way you want.

How do you plan on keeping up with your Project Life?
