I really enjoyed looking at your projects for Week 1! Please continue to link up your creations & spread the word about our linky party. Link up your Week 1’s, click here! I think holding each other accountable will help us all stay motivated & continue to get inspired by other Project Lifers! We all need all the creative help we can get, right? I know I need it!
I am going to try to have our SP Project Lifers Linky Party every THURSDAY, but it I am running behind, it will just be late! Part of my new goals for 2014 involved not stressing out about self imposed dates & keeping my crafting totally fun. So the linky part will be here as soon as I can get it up 🙂 How’s that for specific “It’ll be here, when it’s here!” lol.
Again this week, I did a process video of my layout. This week I decided to try to stick to only items in the January Studio Calico Project Life kit, which is called Copper Mountain. This kit’s color combo worked great for my week 2 because this week was our ANNIVERSARY week! So the pinks, oranges, and reds really worked. If you are thinking of signing up for a Studio Calico kit, please use my referral link above & we both receive 500 rewards points!
I did grab an item from the January Studio Calico Scrapbook kit & I also grabbed some Liquid Pearls (pink), but I think everything else was included in the Project Life kit. To see the SC Project Life kit contents & learn more about the kit, click here to see my post about it.
I confess. . . I make a big deal about any sort of celebration. So rather than just having one anniversary day, we pretty much spread the celebration out the entire week 🙂 Birthdays are celebrated all month long because I consider them extra special! Anyway, so we celebrated 3 wonderful years of marriage last week so that was my focus for Week 2.
I kept my layout even simpler than last week EXCEPT for the So Happy 4×6 card. I created a shaker card and it took quite a bit of time to get it done. I will have the complete details/steps in a separate video
coming up shortly. Click here for the Confetti Shaker Card Tutorial! It was pretty involved so I want to make sure I cover it for y’all in a different post. Other than that, this layout was pretty smooth sailing. I didn’t even type out my journaling this week.
I used a Project Life Design A and Design G pocket page protector.
