This is my 2nd out of 4 monthly kits I have to share with you. The other two will be shared tomorrow.
In the video below, I tell you what I REALLY think of Studio Calico’s cancellation policy (yes they have a cancellation fee!) and then I dig in to the January Project Life Kit. This kit is named Copper Mountain.
I decided to sign up for Studio Calico despite their insane fee because their kits just spoke to me. I love the funky, bright style of the kits and I feel like I will be able to get a lot of use out of the kits. Also, SC offers tons of inspiration over in their gallery!
I’ll admit, some of the “perks” that they listed for their kits I thought were pretty DUMB! For example “Order Add-Ons 12 hours early during a special pre-sale”. Gee thanks, I get to buy more stuff and that’s supposed to make me feel all warm and fuzzy. . . Yeah, I think that is really silly! They do have a rewards points program which does look good if you are one of the people who likes to buy a lot of extra stuff.
I kind of go into a kit club thinking, I am going to use this kit, and this kit only. I go into it thinking I am going to be super creative and stretch the kit as far as I can. The add-ons for kit clubs just don’t really appeal to me because they are always just about as expensive as the kit itself! That’s not something in particular against the Studio Calico add ons, just add ons in general I don’t care for.
Anyway, so there are some mini kit club rants for ya lol. Overall though, even despite my mini rants, I still signed up. I feel like I am going to LOVE using Studio Calico kits. They just speak to me on a creative level 🙂
