Pocket Page Protector Options Guide for Project Life

Hi everyone!

I’ve put together a guide of ALL the pocket page protectors I have been able to find. I wanted ALL the info in one spot.  If you’re anything like me, Design A gets a little boring so I like having a variety of pocket pages to work with. Sticking to one single design like Design A has it’s benefits for streamlining, but I love variety. You definitely do NOT have to stick with Design A so check out all the options below & see what you can create!

Hopefully this list will give you some other options that you will enjoy using with your Project Life. Pin or bookmark this page so you can easily refer back to it later. It will be up in the menu bar under Project Life –> Page Protector Guide

Page Protectors List for Project Lifers

As you can see, there are TONS of different options/configurations when it comes to Project Life pocket page protectors & then even more options from other companies! The possibilities for your albums are nearly endless! I wanted to put all the options down in an easy to follow list. I’ve divided these out by categories so hopefully it will be easier to find what you are looking for.

I’ve linked to the products in store when possible & there are affiliate links included on this post. You can purchase the pocket pages, or use regular 12×12 page protectors and re-create these layouts using THIS method (click for tutorial!). I plan on doing that sometimes & saving some money on all the page protector options 🙂

PLEASE NOTE: For simplicity’s sake, I didn’t duplicate a page style. For example, lots of other companies may make a pocket page just like PL Design A, but I didn’t add those to the list since they are the same layout.

Brands Abbreviations & Info:
PL = Project Life Brand
WRMK = We R Memory Keepers, their PL style collection is called Albums Made Easy
DD = Doodlebug Design
EP: Echo Park, their PL style collection is called Photo Freedom
OA = October Afternoon (They have some PL style things called Daily Flash)
SS= Simple Stories, their PL style collection is called SNAP

  1. Thank you for all the hard work you put into compiling all these different page protectors. What an amazing article you put together to have them all compiled on this one page.

  2. Hallo Sami,
    I wonder if the pages pockets of Doodlebug are compatible with the American Crafts album ??? You know let me know, I have not seen in the post this information.
    Thanks for the great Post!!!!!
    ;)****

    1. I’m pretty sure almost all 12×12 page protectors now come with the 3 standard hole placement that fits all the 12×12 D-ring albums. I don’t know for sure about the Doodlebug ones since I’ve never tried them, but I would assume they would work just fine. I’d be shocked if the holes were different.

  3. WOW!! This list is awesome!! I’ve already pinned it as I know I’ll want to find it again often!! I’ve only recently started working with the Project Life system (as in bought if for myself as an after-Christmas present and finally did my first page in February!! LOL!) I nearly had a heart-attack the day I realized I didn’t have any pages that combine vertical & horizontal pictures on the same page! So – although I, of course, love PL styles A & D I also love WRMK ones that have the 3 – 6 x 4 and 2 – 4 x 6 pockets (sometimes I use the one with the 12 inch strip down the side and sometimes the one with the 3 – 2 x 4 pockets)! My album is already an assortment of pages and I can wait to try out even more of these great options!! Thanks!!

  4. Wow! There are tons out there! haha! I tend to use designs A and G the most but I try to mix it up a bit and use designs B and D occasionally as well. Thank you for putting this all together for us!!

  5. I use Simple Stories Snap Pocket Pages more than any of the others. Surprised you don’t have them all listed. My favorite is Design 8 that has a 6X8 window. I love the 6X8 window because I can make a “mini scrapbook page” within my project life. The cool thing about that page is you can flip it so the 6X8 window is on the bottom right corner …. makes the “weighting” of the page look better to me. Here’s the link to their pages. http://simplestories.typepad.com/simple_stories/snp-pocket-pages.html My favorite binder is made by Pioneer – Style: T-12JF the binder has slightly rounded corners with metal protectors on them. I love Becky Higgins for starting the movement but my Jade PL binder’s metal ring/page holders separated from the actual binder.

  6. Love your list! I noticed you don’t show Simple Stories Snap page protectors in your list of brand/abbreviations but I did notice you had them listed as SS Snap. Might be helpful for newbies if they were listed in the brands.
