Sunday Scoop 4/20/14

Hi everyone!

This week, I switched it up! While I did actually film a video, I used my overhead camera to record it. I just wasn’t feeling like getting all spruced up after working in my scraproom most of the day (well, the part of the day that the pups & hubby let me have to myself lol). I did some major re-organizing of certain sections of the room & man, it really needed it. I just had piles and piles of stuff sitting on every surface. It was getting pretty ridiculous.

After organizing & getting all my most recent layouts into my 2014 album, it was full! So in today’s video, I show you the whole album! I gotta warn you, some of the 12×12 traditional layouts haven’t been up on the blog yet. Give me a couple more Saturdays & then I hope to be caught up with sharing those with you.

Since this is our 400th SP episode, I have a nice little giveaway at the end of the video also πŸ™‚ The official giveaway info is below along with our winner from last week!

  1. Hello! I’m new to your YouTube videos and blog. LOVE your work!! And, welcome to Illinois. I’m about 20 miles west of Chicago.

  2. I like to watch your videos. You give good info, and your style is so relaxing that it makes me relaxed πŸ™‚

  3. Ahh if inspiration could create more hours in the day…. I’m doing PL monthly. I’m 80% finished February; I just need to journal & embellish a few more pockets. I still need to order March’s prints, although I might just wait & order April’s at the same time.

  4. Love your blog & the videos. I am still about 20 years behind in my scrapbooking!! lol. I have just started scrapbooking and so have my entire life worth’s of photos to catch up on. It is all good fun, though. Bless.

  5. Congrats on the 400th! I’ve recently found your videos as a new, big fan of PL videos, so yes, already subscribed πŸ™‚ As for the question, I’m all up to date! Which for me, means I only have last week’s to do. I’ve been managing to keep up to date since I started in November last year. I guess that’s what you call obsessed πŸ˜‰

  6. Congrats on the 400th Sami! I only recently found your blog and youtube channel, but I love both! I think you’re really talented and inspiring! Thanks for the chance to win πŸ˜‰

  7. Hi Samantha,
Congrats on your 400th episode. I really do enjoy your project life videos, I get a lot of neat ideas from you
    Hugs, Stacy

  8. Hi, I’m a new subscriber. I recently started scrapping Project Life style a few weeks ago. I’m working on two albums, one for my son that records his third year, and one for my daughter that records her first year. I’m behind! But working hard to catch up πŸ™‚ Their books start after their last birthday, so my son’s starts in July of 2013 and my daughters starts in October 2013. I’m in Oct for both books. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  9. I look forward to filling up an album – it will be a first for me. Love how you incorporate the 12×12 layouts alongside your PL, I am doing the same.

  10. I’m happy when I fill up an album! My first one of 2014 is full. I don’t embellish a lot so I can squeeze in a fair amount of pages into an album. I, like you, put my 12×12 Los in my PL album.

  11. My photo albums have been untouched in 2014. So sad!! I need to dedicate a few minutes every evening to get started. Thanks so much for sharing yours.
    ~Diane

  12. I loved having a look at all your layouts. I really like seeing how all these individual layouts come together as a whole album. I am not doing any kind of “this year” album at the moment, but I am scrapping pages from my wedding, my Korean trip, and also at the moment my own little album all about me. I have completed 78 layouts so far this year, so I am pretty happy with how much I’ve gotten done!
