  • I’m 15 weeks pregnant this week & I posted my pregnancy update yesterday. Click here to see it now! I talked about a couple of personal things that are going on including Snow the husky dog getting sick & some family stresses.
  • Snow the husky had to stay at the vet yesterday due to dehydration and indigestion. She’s now on lots of meds to get her tummy under control, but it’s obvious she’s still not 100% yet. They are running additional tests because her thyroid test showed that she may have hypothyroidism. If she does have it, she will be medicated for the rest of her life to manage it. She’s now just getting lots of rest and lots of loves. She’s 13, nearly 14 years old now so any ordeal is a serious one for her due to her age. Please keep her in your thoughts/prayers. We’d really appreciate it.
  • My scrap room is FINALLY cleaned up!! I really forced myself to get in there and get things all organized again! Now I am really ready to start crafting up a storm starting next week.
  • I say next week because my hubby is taking some vacation time this week & I am trying to spend a lot of time with him while he’s home. College football starts tomorrow so I plan on sneaking away to get crafty while he watches ๐Ÿ™‚ We had a great date night on Monday at a Japanese Steakhouse & it was so nice to just go out and enjoy ourselves at a nice restaurant. We also had some sushi (nothing raw!) We also stopped at Krispy Kreme for my donut loving hubby.

  • This last week, my lovely Spooky stamp kit came in the mail from when I pre-ordered it through OH MY WORD this kit is so darling! I plan on making some Halloween cards coming up shortly. Little Halloween monsters are just too cute! I’m pretty sure that this kit is still available for sale over at The Greeting Farm’s store so pick one up if you are interested. Please let me know if you happen to shop on their website because they now have a referral program and I would love to get credit for turning you on to TGF.
  • I started making some baby themed thank you cards this week also. I have the card bases all made & a few designs are floating around in my head. I’ll share those when I get them designed and finalized.
  • No Project Life-ing for me lately! I’ve really just been in crochet mode which has been kind of fun and different. I’m still working on a two color baby blanket that I shared in my first Crochet Nook video on my family Youtube Channel. It’s maybe half way done now. I’m slow lol.
  • I made a little gift + card for one of my friend’s little boys for his birthday. I will share the project details for this next week!

And that’s pretty much it for this week! Like I said in the video, I will be back to Monday Scoop next week. Things were just strange because of the Creative Hop + Prenatal Appointment + Hubby taking time off. Things should be back to normal next week. I am STILL behind on sending out prizes so I apologize for that. I am determined to catch up next week & get everything shipped out!

I am so sorry to hear about Snow’s health issues. She is such an adorable dog!
Your scrap room looks great! I wish I had a whole room just for that!
Have a great week-end with your husband. Take care Sammy xx ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Oh no! So sorry to hear about Snow! I hope the meds that she is on help her and nothing further will have to be done! My little Rambo is possibly having Kidney problems (he and Snow are about the same age) We are hoping this special food will correct his levels. I will remember Snow in my prayers! Isn’t it great having the scrap room all clean?!?! {I”m not there yet lol}
Hope you enjoyed your week together!! (((HUGS)))

  3. Love your blog!! Sending huge hugs and cuddles to your pup. They are an extension of our families and are loved like such, so hard to see when they are hurting or sick.

I love your question, but upon reflection, I am truly fortunate for all the tools I already have! I actually found your blog via YouTube when I was looking for tutorials on how to use the Silhouette Cameo that I just got for my birthday!! My only wishful hope would be a little bit better organization system for all the amazing supplies that I already have : )

Thanks so much & healing thoughts and prayers for your sweet Snow!

  4. Sorry to hear about Snow. I’ll say a prayer. Will also send hugs and kisses for you and your family. Thanks for a chance to win. I don’t know if you would call this a tool, but would love a Raskog (pretty aqua color)

  5. Glad to hear your furbaby is feeling better. I would love to get a magnetic platform for my BigKick. Take care. Love ya’ Patricia B

  6. If I could have one tool, it’s not really a tool but I would love some Copic markers. That Halloween stamp set is so cute, would love to learn how to color them. Sorry to hear about your dog.

  7. Yay for getting your scrap room all clean and organized. I have not made much headway in that department. I hope Snow is feeling better. I hope they are able to find the correct medication to keep her comfortable and thriving. I love all of your videos. Thanks for providing so much inspiration to so many of us. And thanks for the opportunity to win some great goodies.

  8. My pup passed yesterday, glad yours is better! Should have worked today, but feeling blue. Glad you are able to spend time with hubby!

    1. I am SO SORRY, Glenda. That is terrible news. It is so hard to lose a member of the family & it’s good that you took some time off work to allow yourself to grieve a bit. I feel like we are one bad appointment away from having to say goodbye to Snow and it is hurting so much just to think about.

  9. Hope your puppy is feeling better. I really want a big shot. I have a cricut but love all those cute dies that go with the stamp sets

  10. Saying a little prayer for Snow. I would love to have a Silouette or a Cameo. They are just a little too expensive for me. Oh well.

  11. Replied in the Hop blog section sorry. To answer the question. There are many tool that I dont have yet that I want but the first would be a die cut machine. Hugs Rasheeda

  12. Sorry, I missed answering your question. I think the tool I want next is the tiny attacher. It looks so handy and would suit my style well.

  13. Oh, your sweet dog ๐Ÿ™ I hope she feels much better being home and getting rest. Enjoy your week with your husband!

  14. Love your videos! I am starting from the beginning and am currently on #136. Since I am late in finding you, I missed out on your stamps. You had some great stamp sets!

  15. Hi! Thanks for the chance to enter in this giveaway! Congrats for your baby!! I wish you, the baby and your family the best!
I would love to have lots and lots of Project Life cards to decorate my planner, scrapbooking and smashbooking because they’re so pretty and I cannot find them in my country

  16. Hi Would you ever consider doing a video on all your Copic Markers and the markers you recommend for beginners? I love your colouring and would be really interested in your advice. Many thanks xxx

    1. That is a great idea! I did have a list of colors for beginners, I will try to find it & I’ll try to get a video or blog post made for you in the next couple weeks. ๐Ÿ™‚
