Bold Thank You Card

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!!

Hope you are having a fantastic day! Today’s my official due date for baby girl so I thought I would get a project scheduled here just in case. For the latest baby updates, please follow me on Instagram @thescrapmaster. That’s where I plan on announcing anything first.

This is just a simple, bold thank you card I whipped up recently.

I saw a similar design in an older edition of the Stampin’ Success magazine, which is a special magazine just for demonstrators. I was totally inspired by the other card so I decided to make my own version.

The “thank you” stamp is from the Another Thank You stamp set. I wanted this stamp set specifically for this large thank you, but it is actually rather difficult to use such a large stamp! I actually messed up my first piece of cardstock trying to stamp this one. The second try was much better. I just needed to apply more even pressure over the stamp.

I stamped the sentiment in Strawberry Slush ink onto some Papertrey Ink white cardstock, which left the ink showing up really dark for some reason. I don’t remember this ink being quite so dark on the Stampin’ UP Whisper White cardstock so I will try that next time.

The polka dot patterned paper is from an older Echo Park Dots & Stripes 6×6 paper pad. They’ve got a new D&S collection that was recently released or will be released shortly (I forgot!).

I picked out a matching twine from my stash to make the cute little bow. This is Strawberry twine from The Twinery.

And the last thing I did was round the bottom corners with my Corner Chomper.

To go along with my card today, I have another SP Everyday Color Combo to share! Feel free to use this on your project & share, link up, and/or Pin the swatch below.

I recently had a friend over and we made a bunch of these thank you cards. We just mass produced them so we would have plenty of thank you cards for after our babies arrive (she’s pregnant too!). We used different patterned papers on these, but the same over all design. It was a great way to use up some scraps also!

That’s it for today. Have a wonderful & crafty day!
