Today I played along with the Sketches in Thyme sketch for the week. I wanted to use up some of my March Freckled Fawn kit so I picked a photo that paired well with the outdoorsy, adventure theme of the kit.
I cut the flowers out of an older Carta Bella patterned paper. I also cut the doily out of an older paper from my stash. The other papers are all just older papers as well.
The orange washi, stars, epoxy arrow, alphas, label sticker, and puffy circle with a heart inside are all March Freckled Fawn kit items.
The orange puffy heart and the vellum phrase are both from Freckled Fawn also.
Hey everyone! Here’s the story of why I failed the Scrapbook Every Day Challenge.
On the night of the 23rd, I scrapbooked my Week 10 Project Life layouts. Then I went to do the voiceover the next night and after I recorded the first minute or so, the voiceovers stopped working! I don’t know what happened, but I couldn’t get the voice over to work anymore. I pretty much spent the entire evening trying to get it to work without success! So that night I didn’t scrapbook.
Then last night I tried again and again failed at getting the voiceover to work. And I didn’t scrapbook yet again. Well today I gave up and finally just finished the video without the voiceover so I can scrapbook tonight lol!!
I skipped two days (technically 3 because I think I missed a day when I did my Week 9 voice over), but I plan on getting back to it tonight and I plan on finishing off the month. I really want to finish up the last few layouts of February so I can have a flip through for you guys in early March.
Last night I finished the rest of the September Project Life style layouts. I did leave some room in my album for some of the photos I plan on traditionally scrapbooking. There were maybe 5 layouts like that.
I pulled out my fall themed journaling cards and embellishments and began to use them on these pages.
These are just a mix of brands: Pebbles (wood veneers), Doodlebug (the Fall title), Cocoa Daisy (labels, journaling cards).
The label stickers are something I got in a Christmas themed Snap Studios pack.
I also used a Freckled Fawn foam scripty word (which are gorgeous!!), and a few Elle’s Studio and/or Cocoa Daisy label shapes.
That’s it for today! There’s only a week left in my scrap everyday challenge so I think I’ve been doing really good sticking with it. And I am super excited to have finished a month from the past (with the exception of a few traditional pages!).
