Hi everyone! This is my last project to share this year!

Don’t worry! I am excited to start sharing more goodness in 2014. I feel recharged & ready to get crafting šŸ™‚

I created this card a little while ago using a cute SVG cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables. This one can be found here: Turtle

I used a retiring stamp set for the sentiment, Turtle-y Awesome Mini Stamp Set. The word bubble is a newer stamp from the mini set called Dude Word Bubble Mini Stamp Set

I used some SP buttons in the following colors: Sandcastle, Ocean Waves, and Summer Sunset.

These patterned papers are from Echo Park’sĀ All About a Boy collection.

And finally, I added some Cappuccino colored twine from The Twinery.

Do you like turtles? I always loved Turtles, but now anytime I think of turtles, I think of the I like Turtles kid.

That’s all I have to share with you today!! I am going to have some major announcements happening Jan 1st and 2nd so I will be back then. Please have a safe Happy New Year & I will see you again soon!!

Teddy Bear Heart Card

Hey everyone!

Have you checked out our new releases yet? They are pretty spectacular if I do say so myself! LOL. Hop on over to the SP Facebook page and join in our release party posts for a chance to win some fun prizes. The super fun part happened Saturday night, but there is still some fun to be had over there šŸ™‚

Also, we don’t have a Digi release this week because we had the big clear release! I will have a digi release next Monday like usual though.

So my project today is a Valentine’s Day card using our brand new Love Balloons Teddy stamp set. This set contains some of the most adorable sentiments!! Like the one I used on my card:

This card ended up quite large. This card would be perfect for a child because of that cute bear pun & bear shape!

I used my Silhouette Cameo & some Miss Kate Cuttables for this one. The heart shaped card was created from shapes in the I Toadally Love You set.

I just took the heart and sized it so the teddy bear would fit on it & then turned it into a card shape by welding two of the scallop heart shapes together. Then I attached another scallop heart shape to make the front of the card. I really love shaped cards so I was really proud when I figured out how to make one with my silhouette. I will do a tutorial on this someday soon.

The teddy bear was part of the Be Mine set.

I added some faux stitching around the heart shape to give it some more decoration.

Then I added some Stickles on the heart that the teddy bear is holding.

And finally, I attached the sentiment on a little banner shape.

That’s it for today, folks! I am going to try to have a project for you everyday this week, but I’m not making any promises. I do have a project for tomorrow though lol.

I have a GREAT giveaway coming up on Wednesday to help me celebrate ONE MILLION VISITORS! This is long overdue, but it is definitely worth the wait! See you soon šŸ™‚
