Can you believe I’ve had 3 blog posts this week? I am seriously on a roll. I actually plan on having 3 blog posts for you next week as well 🙂 Hope you enjoy the increase & it gives you some extra inspiration.
Over the weekend, I made two Christmas cards using Copics and various goodies. I’ll post the second one next Friday. Today I want to show you this cute little Holiday Anya 4 on my card.
Happy Wednesday! Today I have two things going on for ya! First up, I have an unboxing video showing off the new Freckled Fawn OHDEERME Kit for September + some extra goodies I picked up this month. Then I’ve got all the details on my first Halloween card of the year!
This card features one of the adorable monster stamps from the new Spooky Kit from The Greeting Farm. This is a huge Halloween themed kit & my goal is to use each little person from this kit one time so you might see bunches of Halloween cards coming up! If you purchase anything from The Greeting Farm’s shop, please let me know so I can get referral credit for that. Just drop me an email or leave me a comment.
I colored up this little guy with the folowing Copic colors:
For the orange: YR12, YR14
For the monster eyes: BG0000, BG000
For the hair: W7
For the skin & cheeks: E00, E21, E02
I used Papertrey Ink stamper’s select white cardstock to do my copic coloring.
I cut out the two label shapes from two different but coordinating Nestabilities sets: Labels Four (for the white layer) & Gold Labels Four (for the black layer). I popped these layers up on dimensional adhesive.
I used some orange chevron ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is from a retired SP and Company stamp set. I just stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black right on to the patterned paper.
The card base is a piece of black cardstock from Stampin’ UP. I used a white gel pen to add faux stitching around the edges of the card front.
The patterned papers are from Echo Park. They came from two different paper pads. The black paper used for the label shape is from the Dots & Stripes Metropolitan paper pad. The orange paper is from the All About a Boy paper pad. Both of these are older paper pads so they are a little hard to find online.
And that’s it for today! I hope that you enjoyed today’s video & project! I will be back on Friday with something new. See you soon!!
