Now, let’s talk about my project for today. I used the Winter Wonderland paper pad on today’s project, but I purchased mine at MarkerPop right here. I loved it soo much that I ordered it for the store too (and maybe so I could have another paper pad too lol)!

I really used a mix of elements for this card, but it just goes to show that so many of the collections out there can be used together in harmony. When I was making this card, I was really just grabbing various elements from my very mess desk and this is what came out!

I used the gorgeous Glam Girl Emma stamp set as my main element on this card.

For my little glam girl, I decided to use the heart headband accessory stamp. I stamped the Emma and the headband separately onto white paper and then colored them both in with Copics. I then cut both images out using my Xacto blade & then adhered the headband using liquid adhesive. The headband just fits perfectly on her head. There is a little crown in this stamp set and it fits perfectly on her head as well.

The green polka dot and also the snowflake paper came out of the Winter Wonderland paper pad, but the light blue polka dot paper came from the Merry & Bright paper pad from Carta Bella.

I created this pretty round frame shape using the Cricut Expression and the Holiday Cakes cartridge. This shape is called Baby1 from Page 31 & it was cut at 4.5inches.

The sentiment was made from a combo of alpha stickers and a stamp. The sentiment stamp “Sparkle” is from the Glam Girl Emma stamp set. The alpha letters are from the This & That Christmas collection kit, which was included in the September SP Monthly Kit.

To embellish the card, I added some green glitter glue, which is from Studio G. I also added some Maraschino twine from The Twinery & a glazed brad from the My Mind’s Eye All Is Bright decorative brads set.

The finished card measures 5inches square.

Here is a closer look at my coloring:

Spooky Card for SP Stamps Blog

Hi everyone! I’ve got another project for Halloween Week! I hope that you have been inspired to pull out your SP Stamps and make something spooky.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

My card today is extra long and definitely spooktacular. The card measures 4X9inches. I used some die cut letters cut from the Cricut Expression to make a huge sentiment with some pretty paper from the Chillingsworth Manor 6×6 paper pad made by Echo Park.

To make the card extra spooky, I added the witch hat, spider web, and spider from the Falling for Autumn stamp set from our Vintage October collection designed by Chrissie Tobas.  The stamps in this stamp set are perfect accents for this sort of graphic card.

I just colored in the witch hat with some markers. For the spider and spider web, I did some clear embossing.

Clear embossing on colored cardstock, such as black shown here, makes for a super sleek look.

That’s all I have for you today. Check back again tomorrow and see what spooky project Vicki has in store for you!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I had to much fun making this project! Do you like my rainbow background? It is actually airbrushed with the Copic Airbrush System 3 + Air Compressor!! I used some die cut clouds (cut from the Cricut Sesame Street Seasons cartridge) to mask off some of the white of the card so that I would be left with some white clouds after I airbrushed. I used the following Copic colors for the airbrushing: R27, YR14, Y15, YG25, B24, V25, RV06.

Here’s a video showing my rainbow airbrush background technique:

My main image comes from Gorjuss and she is in a stamp set called “Flying Above it All”.  I colored & then trimmed it out with my craft knife. I used the following Copics: E0000, E000, E00, E01, YR01, YR12, YR14, C6, C7, C9, C10, C00, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99.

The beautiful sentiment is from the SP and Company Sympathy & Care stamp set, available now at MarkerPop.com.

To finish off the card, I just rounded the bottom corners.

I hope that I’ve inspired you to join in on the hop. Be sure to head back to the MarkerPop Blog when you are done hopping so you can play along with our challenge this week! Click on the next name on our blog hop list below:
