Pink Snowflakes Card

Hello again!  This is my second post for today. Make sure you check out Day 2 of my 20 Days of Copic Christmas that was posted earlier today!

I actually made this project with the September SP Monthly Kit a while back, but I just didn’t have a chance to get it posted yet so I am squeezing it in today.

This card was definitely a 5 minute card so it would be a great easy one to mass produce for the holidays.  You could easily leave off the twine to make it perfectly flat for better mailing (and it would also make it even easier to mass produce!).

The card base for this one is Pretty In Pink cardstock from Stampin’ UP & I stamped the base with the snowflake stamps from the Christmas Medley stamp set. I used Regal Rose ink.

The patterned papers I used were from the This & That Christmas collection by Echo Park, which was included in the September SP Monthly Kit.

I stamped the sentiment tag onto some patterned paper, cut it out, and then attached it to a layer of white cardstock. Then I trimmed around the white cardstock so there was a white mat around the shape.

This sentiment is from the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set which was also included in the September SP Monthly Kit.

I added some Honeydew Twine from The Twinery and voila! The card was complete!

Ok, now I am done for the day! I will be back with Day 3 of my 25 Days of Copic Christmas. Have a fabulous evening!

Preview Day 1: Hello, World! + Weekly Giveaway

Hi everyone!

This stamp release, we are switching things up & we are going to have 5 full days of previews for our November releases. We are combining releases to make time for the holidays so will NOT have a December release next month. This is Preview Day #1!

Also, the Weekly Giveaway is at the bottom of this post 🙂

Today I want to share some awesome 5 Minute Cards I made with our new stamp set called Hello, World! Baby Announcement Builder stamp set. This set is exactly what the title suggests, it is a stamp set that was designed to build handmade birth/arrival announcements! Even if you don’t need to make baby announcements, there is plenty of awesomeness in this stamp set.

What I love about this stamp set:

  • The big, gorgeous graphic announcement “Hello, ___” -This is so clean and simple yet bold & eye catching. This set will design some AMA-ZING baby announcements for sure!
  • The family/friend words in this set fit beautifully inside the banner shape.
  • The banner is easy enough to color in or paper piece.
  • There are lots of options for the INSIDE of the baby announcements — with this set you can make a complete baby announcement. All you need is a photo of the new bundle of joy!
  • The family member words would be perfect for scrapbooking & various other cards.
  • Take the comma away from the big “Hello” and it could be used for great just because cards.
  • Leave the comma with the big “Hello”, and use it with a sentiment from our other stamp sets (think Mix ‘n Match Sentiments) to create totally unique cards for your friends and family members.
  • The banner in this set could be used for anything, not just baby announcements!
  • I designed this stamp set with my future birth announcements in mind. When my husband and I start our family, you betcha I will be using this stamp set to send announcements to EVERYBODY! I even see myself using this stamp set for pregnancy announcements and including an ultrasound photo with the due date info.
  • This set would also be great for making cards FOR a new baby & their family to congratulate them on their new baby.

Card 1
Hello was stamped using Pool Party ink from Stampin’ UP.
The banner was colored in with Copic BG23.
The inside “It’s a Boy!” was stamped in Taken with Teal ink.
I rounded the corners for a clean look.

Card 2
Hello & It’s a Girl! were stamped in Regal Rose ink from Stampin’ UP.
The banner was colored in with Copic RV25.
The inside says “Announcing the arrival of our beautiful bundle of joy” -this sentiment could be used for adoption announcements as well as birth announcements.

Here is a look at the insides:

The full stamp set will be revealed on November 10th & it will be available for purchase starting that day! So, what do you think? Over the next few days, I am going to share more sneaky peeks so stay tuned for more. Have a wonderful day! Our Weekly Giveaway info is below:

A Gift For You Card

Hi everyone! Did you remember to set your clock back an hour for daylight savings time? Honestly, I would have forgotten all about it except my mac changed the time for me. How did you use that extra hour? I used mine staying up too late and making soup! LOL. It was fun.

Tomorrow we start sneak peeks of our new stamp sets for October!! I am so excited because the November release is one of the best yet! I like to think that every release gets just better and better & I hope that you feel the same. Starting tomorrow, I will have a sneak peek card to share, using at least one of our new stamp sets and leading up to November 10th for our release party! It is going to be a lot of fun & I hope you will join us for all the fun!!

Today I have a card that I made using the September SP Monthly Kit a while ago. This is one of my favorite clean and simple cards that I have made in a LONG time. I just love how easy and simple it was but it looks so nice and beautiful. And better yet, this is another one of my 5 Minute Cards!

The sentiment for this card came from the Filled with Cheer Emma stamp set from SP & Company. The patterned paper came from the This & That Christmas collection from Echo Park. Both of these were included in the September Monthly Kit.

The card base was made from Kraft cardstock and I just rounded all the corners of it.

I added some Honeydew twine from The Twinery to make the card look kind of like a present.

This card would be a great card to give with a gift card or money inside.
