Got Anymore Macarons? Scrapbook Layout + Free Title Cut File

Hey everyone! Happy 2018! I’ve been a little MIA on the blog lately and part of my new years goals is to get into scrapping again. I took a bit of a break from crafting towards the end of last year when we purchased this house. Slowly but surely, my scrap room is getting organized so I am starting to feel much more creative again. Be sure to follow me on my crafty YouTube channel because I have updated over there way more than I have over here.

I wrote the rest of this blog post last night after I had completed my first Cameo project in FOREVER! Here’s the layout I made last night:

I am so excited! After what feels like forever, I finally have my Silhouette Cameo back! It was stored in a box during our year of renting when we first moved to Austin. And since moving to this home, I have been searching and searching for the cord! Tonight I finally found the cord!!

Tonight I decided to scrapbook the next photos that needed scrapping in my 2017 album. These are from Valentine’s Day. We have a tradition of having macarons for Valentine’s Day. Olivia LOVED them. She kept looking for more (even with a piece still in her mouth!) and I thought it was hilarious so I snapped some photos.

My layout was based on a recent Stuck Sketch.

I knew I wanted to cut out part of my title. I first chose my papers for the layout. I chose the sprinkle patterned paper from Doodlebug for the title letters that I cut with the Cameo. I used the font Lobster & welded the letters together. I debated back and forth between two fonts. I ended up cutting both out and eventually deciding on the Lobster font. I have the Silhouette Studio file as a free download if you would like it. Click on the blue download button below! I also created an offset outline using aqua paper (also included in the file!). If you’re interested in the SVG files, please let me know and I can try to figure out how to convert the files.

The background paper is from the Elle’s Studio Family Fun collection. The pink heart foil paper is Bazzill.

All of the cute little macarons and hearts are from the same Doodlebug collection as the sprinkle patterned paper, called Cream & Sugar. I pulled these from the mini stickers sheet as well as the cardstock sticker sheet.

I added an Elle’s studio label to add a tiny bit of journaling. Behind the label, I added a die cut heart that was part of the December Freckled Fawn kit. I also added a scallop wood veneer from the same kit.

Finally I sprinkled some enamel dots around the page. These were from an older My Mind’s Eye collection called Follow Your Heart.

Here are some more detail photos for you:

Hope you enjoyed it! I will be working to post here more regularly. I’m trying to get back into the things I love & this blog is one of those things 🙂
