This card features oneĀ  of the adorable monster stamps from the new Spooky Kit from The Greeting Farm. This is a huge Halloween themed kit & my goal is to use each little person from this kit one time so you might see bunches of Halloween cards coming up! If you purchase anything from The Greeting Farm’s shop, please let me know so I can get referral credit for that. Just drop me an email or leave me a comment.

I colored up this little guy with the folowing Copic colors:

  • For the orange: YR12, YR14
  • For the monster eyes: BG0000, BG000
  • For the hair: W7
  • For the skin & cheeks: E00, E21, E02

I used Papertrey Ink stamper’s select white cardstock to do my copic coloring.

I cut out the two label shapes from two different but coordinating Nestabilities sets: Labels Four (for the white layer) & Gold Labels Four (for the black layer). I popped these layers up on dimensional adhesive.

I used some orange chevron ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is from a retired SP and Company stamp set. I just stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black right on to the patterned paper.

The card base is a piece of black cardstock from Stampin’ UP. I used a white gel pen to add faux stitching around the edges of the card front.

The patterned papers are from Echo Park. They came from two different paper pads. The black paper used for the label shape is from the Dots & Stripes Metropolitan paper pad. The orange paper is from the All About a Boy paper pad. Both of these are older paper pads so they are a little hard to find online.

And that’s it for today! I hope that you enjoyed today’s video & project! I will be back on Friday with something new. See you soon!!

Spooky Mummy Card

Hi everyone!Last week, I had such a great response to using my Silhouette Cameo in a video, that I decided to do it again this week. This project still kind of fits for Frugal Friday because I did use some kit club papers. I also have a Silhouette tutorial to go along with it.Let’s get started!

Here’s the video. Enjoy!

I used a cute little Mummy from Miss Kate Cuttables. Click here to see the file. The card base and tree silhouette layer are both from Miss Kate Cuttables too. I used the Halloween Icons file, duplicated the scallop square layer and welded them together to form the card base.

The flair I used is also from Miss Kate Cuttables flair collection through SP and Company: Candy Corn Flair.

The sentiment I used is from the Bold Sentiments II stamp set.

The polka dot patterned paper is from the Echo Park Tis the Season collection. There are still some sheets from this collection left in the store. It was included in the September SP Monthly Kit.

The twine is from The Twinery.

  • What kind of Silhouette tutorial do you want to see next?
  • What flair theme do you want to see next?
  • Do you get a lot of trick or treaters where you live?
