Hey everyone!

Today, I have a card making tutorial to share with you. Remember THIS card?

Well way back when, I made a paper piecing tutorial to go with it, but I never got it posted. I have that tutorial for you today!

This is a great technique to use when you want to add some cute pattern to your stamped images. I love using paper piecing when there are larger areas on a stamp. It saves me lots of coloring time.

Quick Photo Editing with Photoshop (for Beginners)

Hey everyone!

Happy happy Monday! Did you have a nice weekend? What was the best part of your weekend?

My favorite part was our walks around the lake. That’s always such a nice, relaxing time for hubby & I to just chat & have a nice time together without distractions.

Easy Photo Editing with Photoshop

Anyhoo, today, I wanted to share with you how I usually edit my photos. I don’t usually do a whole lot of editing to my photos because I try to have decent enough lighting that my photos will come out ok anyway. But there are times when I do want the photo to look nicer & that’s when I go to Photoshop. In today’s photo, I walk you through the quick steps that I use to make my photos much much better.

And believe me, I am barely scratching the surface of what Photoshop can do to improve or edit photos. This program does AMAZING things. This is just some very very basic Photoshop stuff:

I use an older version of Photoshop called CS5, but you can do a ton with a cheaper, newer (lighter) version called Elements:

I hope that this little video gives you some quick photo editing tips. If you’d like to see other Photoshop tutorials, let me know what you’d like to see & I will try to put together a tutorial for that.

An Easy Way to Double Sided Print with Your Printer

Hi everyone!

Happy Tuesday! Sorry for a lack of posting yesterday. I ended up doing some behind the scenes upgrades with my hosting provider. The blog should be running a whole lot faster for us now thankfully (not that it was all that slow before, but there were times that it was running slower than I’d like). I’ve definitely noticed a different in the speed that the pages load since the upgrade.

I will have TWO posts pop up today. This is the first 🙂 Keep an eye out for the other one.

Since adding the Planner Printables to the SP Digi Shop, I’ve had a couple of questions regarding double sided printing so today I am answering them with a quick video tutorial.

How to Double Sided Print

It can be a little challenging to figure out what side of the paper your printer prints on so I made a quick little video showing how I determine how my printer prints.

Now the orientation really depends on your printer, but once you figure out how your printer prints, it is easy to just flip your papers over to the correct side for double sided printing. I hope this video helps you figure out how your printer works so you can do some double sided printing!

And here are a few of my favorite planner printables. More are available in the SP Digi Shop now 🙂 If you are looking for a specific type of planner printable, let me know & I will try to make something for you!
