Bold Thank You Card

Hey everyone! Happy Monday!!

Hope you are having a fantastic day! Today’s my official due date for baby girl so I thought I would get a project scheduled here just in case. For the latest baby updates, please follow me on Instagram @thescrapmaster. That’s where I plan on announcing anything first.

This is just a simple, bold thank you card I whipped up recently.

I saw a similar design in an older edition of the Stampin’ Success magazine, which is a special magazine just for demonstrators. I was totally inspired by the other card so I decided to make my own version.

The “thank you” stamp is from the Another Thank You stamp set. I wanted this stamp set specifically for this large thank you, but it is actually rather difficult to use such a large stamp! I actually messed up my first piece of cardstock trying to stamp this one. The second try was much better. I just needed to apply more even pressure over the stamp.

I stamped the sentiment in Strawberry Slush ink onto some Papertrey Ink white cardstock, which left the ink showing up really dark for some reason. I don’t remember this ink being quite so dark on the Stampin’ UP Whisper White cardstock so I will try that next time.

The polka dot patterned paper is from an older Echo Park Dots & Stripes 6×6 paper pad. They’ve got a new D&S collection that was recently released or will be released shortly (I forgot!).

I picked out a matching twine from my stash to make the cute little bow. This is Strawberry twine from The Twinery.

And the last thing I did was round the bottom corners with my Corner Chomper.

To go along with my card today, I have another SP Everyday Color Combo to share! Feel free to use this on your project & share, link up, and/or Pin the swatch below.

I recently had a friend over and we made a bunch of these thank you cards. We just mass produced them so we would have plenty of thank you cards for after our babies arrive (she’s pregnant too!). We used different patterned papers on these, but the same over all design. It was a great way to use up some scraps also!

That’s it for today. Have a wonderful & crafty day!

Thanks So Much Card

Hey everyone!

Happy Tuesday!! Today I have a quick card to share with ya today. This is just a quick thank you card that I made last night. I made this one super easy so it could easily be mass produced. I’ve got a friend coming over later in the week & we are going to whip up a bunch of thank you cards together. I want the cards to be pretty, yet easy to put together so we can make many. I plan on us using up some scraps to get different color combos for the thank you cards.

This was the first time I dug into my new Stampin’ UP Demonstrator goodies & I had a lot of fun using some new goodies. I used a bunch of new items on this card that are from the new Occasions Mini catalog. I am really digging the versatility of the stamp and die set I used on today’s card & also used them on another card I will share later this week. You might see these sets a TON. Just warning ya!!

The adorable “thanks so much” sentiment is a combo of stamps & dies. These actually can be purchased in a bundle for 15% less than if purchased individually. The die set is called Hello You. & I cut out the “thanks” in Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The stamp set is called Crazy About You (the flower stamp is also from this set).

To stamp the flower & the “so much” part of the sentiment, I used Coastal Cabana ink. This is one of my fave colors recently.

The card base is So Saffron cardstock. I used a standard size card base.

The striped patterned paper is an old one from Echo Park’s Dots & Stripes collection.

And finally, I embossed the darker teal cardstock using an embossing folder called Spring Flowers. This was a paper scrap so I am not 100% sure what color this was. I think it is a Papertrey Ink cardstock possibly.

For this card layout, I used this week’s sketch from Mojo Monday.

And today, I put together a color combo for you based on my card! I plan on adding these color combos for you guys just for a little extra inspiration. Feel free to pin, share, and use this color combo! I’m calling these new color combos, SP Everyday Color Combos

And that’s it for today! I am seriously on a creative roll these days. I might end up having a project or video for you every day for the rest of the week. It just depends on how quick I can get these projects typed up for ya 😉 I craft faster than I type right now lol!

Have a great day!
