Love You Tons Card Start to Finish & New Video Series!

Hi everyone!

Ya know how I totally stunk at the January Copic challenge? Well there was a bit of a reason for that! I joined the MarkerPOP design team again!! So rather than getting burnt out making daily coloring vids, I decided to hold back & plan something super spectacular for you guys – A NEW video series!! 😀

New Copic video series from

I am so excited to be designing for MarkerPOP again. I love MP soo much. So today I have FOUR videos for you to go along with my first MarkerPOP day as a new design team member. And I made a card! LOL

There is a giveaway over on my MarkerPOP blog post so be sure to head over there & enter the giveaway!!

Before we get to my new video series, I wanted to share my MarkerPOP haul with you guys. I picked up a bunch of great goodies in the store.

Today, I am kicking off our new video series: Learning Copics with MarkerPOP! Every other week, I will be sharing a new Learning Copics video with you!! I am really excited to start this new series. We’re going to start out with the very very basics and build up to some more advanced and intricate lessons.

To start things off, today’s video is just a very basic 2 color blending tutorial. If you’ve been Copic-ing (he he, yay for making up words!) for long, you are probably a pro at basic 2 color blending already. If you are newer to Copics, then practice this technique a bunch & make it a go-to technique in your coloring arsenal. This is a very important foundation technique that other coloring techniques will build upon.

In this tutorial, I used the following Copic colors:

Teddy Bear Heart Card

Hey everyone!

Have you checked out our new releases yet? They are pretty spectacular if I do say so myself! LOL. Hop on over to the SP Facebook page and join in our release party posts for a chance to win some fun prizes. The super fun part happened Saturday night, but there is still some fun to be had over there 🙂

Also, we don’t have a Digi release this week because we had the big clear release! I will have a digi release next Monday like usual though.

So my project today is a Valentine’s Day card using our brand new Love Balloons Teddy stamp set. This set contains some of the most adorable sentiments!! Like the one I used on my card:

This card ended up quite large. This card would be perfect for a child because of that cute bear pun & bear shape!

I used my Silhouette Cameo & some Miss Kate Cuttables for this one. The heart shaped card was created from shapes in the I Toadally Love You set.

I just took the heart and sized it so the teddy bear would fit on it & then turned it into a card shape by welding two of the scallop heart shapes together. Then I attached another scallop heart shape to make the front of the card. I really love shaped cards so I was really proud when I figured out how to make one with my silhouette. I will do a tutorial on this someday soon.

The teddy bear was part of the Be Mine set.

I added some faux stitching around the heart shape to give it some more decoration.

Then I added some Stickles on the heart that the teddy bear is holding.

And finally, I attached the sentiment on a little banner shape.

That’s it for today, folks! I am going to try to have a project for you everyday this week, but I’m not making any promises. I do have a project for tomorrow though lol.

I have a GREAT giveaway coming up on Wednesday to help me celebrate ONE MILLION VISITORS! This is long overdue, but it is definitely worth the wait! See you soon 🙂

SP Color Combo #134

Hi everyone!

For today’s SPCC Challenge, I used some Valentine colors and made a clean and simple card to go along with it. Before we get on to SPCC #134, I need to announce the winners from SPCC#133 and SP Trends #2.

The winner of SP Trends Challenge #2 is. . . 6. Nanette

Yay! Congrats, Nanette!! You have won a $25 gift certificate to the SP Store! Email me at to claim your prize. You have TWO WEEKS.

Our winner for SPCC #133 is . . .  1. Alicia

Woop woop! Congrats, Alicia!! You have won the Timeless Typewriter Alphabet stamp set! Email me at to claim your prize. You have TWO WEEKS.

Now here’s my card for SPCC#134:

Here’s the color combo:

Our SP Color Combo rules are simple:
*SP & Company Stamps are required on your project. Don’t own any of our fabulous stamps yet? Well, then head to the store and check us out! Our stamps start at $1.99! We also offer a couple of freebie digital stamps as well so everyone can play along.
*Projects must be NEWLY CREATED just for our challenge (no backlinking & please link to us so we know you are really playing along).

Here’s how I created my card:
It was really easy to make! I simply used a Spellbinders die from the Fleur De Lis Accents pack. The patterned paper I used is from the True Love 6×6 Paper Pad from Basic Grey. Then I cut out a circle with my electronic die cutter from a white piece of cardstock.

On the white cardstock, I stamped two of the hearts from the Artsy Heartsy stamp set & then layered the die cut shapes together with some foam adhesive.

Next, I centered the shape on my card and then stamped an I and a U from the Timeless Typewriter Alphabet stamp set.

I rounded the corners of the Kraft cardstock with my corner chomper and then I was done. Super simple!

One winner will be chosen at random to receive a new Artsy Heartsy Stamp Set!! Entries are due by Tuesday, February 5th at Noon EST. Have fun and good luck! (PS. If you already own this set, I can sub it out for any set you would like)
