Story Time Layout

Hey everyone! Samantha here, bringing you a scrapbook layout I made using the October Freckled Fawn embellishment kit. I absolutely loved this month’s kit and I thought it worked so great with the photos that I had for the month. These photos are of bedtime storytime.

I made a simple title out of some alphas I wanted to use up from my stash and then I clustered a lot of my embellishements around the title. I also added a journaling shape & did a tiny bit of journaling.

At the top of the page, I added a fun little banner using the chipboard banner shapes. The patterns on these were just so cute!

To finish off the other side of the layout and create some balance, I decided to add some ribbon trim from a past kit (one of my fave items!!!) with a little accent sticker from this month’s kit.

I really like how the colors in the kit make this page not seem ultra-girly since my husband is also in these pictures, I didn’t want it to be too pink. I think the pink patterned paper against the kit elements was a good contrast.

Soaked Layout

Hey everyone! Samantha here with another Freckled Fawn layout to share. I made a simple Project Life style spread for this one because I wanted to use a lot of photos. I love the different facial expressions my daughter, Olivia was making in these.

Since this is a very photo heavy spread, I clustered my embellishments on the journaling card. I loved that the colors in the October kit worked really nicely with the pink patterned paper I wanted to use along the right side of the page.

I love the way the glitter washi from the kit looked as a border. I love the pop of glitter (and I love that it isn’t messy like loose glitter!!).

The alphas I used are actually from a past kit & they are among my favorite alphas EVER. I use them all the time. SO pretty!!

Smile, Livvy Layout

Hey everyone! Samantha here, bringing you a black, white, and gold layout using the September Freckled Fawn Kit.

It was really fun whipping up a layout using a color palette that is totally out of my comfort zone. I’m usually all about bright colors. I added just a tiny pop of color with the pink patterned paper.

All of my embellishments came from the September kit with the exception of the goal foam alphas that I added. I thought they worked perfectly with the kit this month so I just had to pair them together. I love how all the embellishments coordinated so nicely together.

Since it was a primarily black and white layout, I decided to cluster everything together and accentuate the white space that was left. I really liked the look.

Here are some more closeups of the embellishments.
