My Planner Overview & Organization 2015

Hey everyone!

I’m a little early on the planner thing this year, but I thought with baby on the way, it’s best to be early for this type of thing. Today’s video is SUPER long, but I’ve included an index underneath the video so you can jump around to any parts that you want to see. You just have to click over to Youtube & check the description box below the video to jump around.

Today, I’m talking all about the planner I will be using for 2015! Wow, it is hard to believe we’re already talking about a new year, isn’t it?!

For 2015, I decided to go with a customizable spiral bound style planner called Plum Paper Planner (PPP). I had checked out other options and just nothing seemed as perfectly customizable as the PPP. I’m totally excited about my new planner & I’ve already started using it & getting it ready since it starts in December 2014. Check out my video below to hear the reasons why I picked the PPP over other brands like Filofax, Arc, or Erin Condren. I also show the entire planner up close and personal & talk about all the possible customizations & options that you have when ordering a PPP.

HUGE Scrap Haul Video

Hey everyone!

I’ve gotten some things over the past couple months so I decided to just combine all my hauls into one large video. If you click over to the video on Youtube, you can see an index of what all is included in today’s haul video. That way you can jump around in the video and see just the parts of the haul you want to see. Cool huh? I thought so!

I shared some Echo Park, Freckled Fawn, The Greeting Farm, Carta Bella, and Studio Calico. It seems like a ton of stuff, even to me! I know it was all purchased over the span of months & I really haven’t been buying much since this summer (and even before that I was really cutting back on my scrap spending!). I’ve tried to be more careful with what I decide to purchase.

Speaking of scrappy purchases, I have considered doing a NO buying challenge for 2015! I’m not sure I can commit to zero buying, but maybe I can set very strict limits on what I buy. I really want to start using up some of my current stash before I start buying a whole lot more. This scrap haul should keep me busy for ages. My main hangup with committing to a no buying challenge is I don’t want to stop getting my Freckled Fawn kit, but it is $33 a month.

Have you done any sort of no buying challenge? I’d love to hear about what rules you had set for yourself!

Here is more info about a couple things I mentioned in the video:

If you are interested in subscribing to Freckled Fawn, please use my referral info so we both get a discount coupon! Put my name & email in the comments section when you subscribe ( Samantha Peyton scrapmastersparadise @yahoo.com ) & we both get a $5 off coupon! Click here!

DIY Nursery Canvas Wall Art Tutorial using the Silhouette Cameo

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!

I majorly slacked on finishing up these canvases until yesterday & by the time we hung them up, the lighting was too dark to take photos or finish my video. I had to wait until this morning to get the photos of the wall. I also had a couple of silly upload mistakes which lead to more delays lol. Next week, I will be prepared because my video is half way filmed already ;)

So let’s get to today’s project & video!

DIYcanvases_111214

I made some wall art for our baby girl’s nursery. Her nursery is going to be all pink, aqua, and teal with a mermaid/under the sea theme! I am really happy with the way things are shaping up, but I’m not ready to do an entire nursery tour yet. It will happen sometime within the next 3 months hopefully (before little one gets here lol!!).

I got the idea to make wall canvases from various photos I have seen on Pinterest of other baby girl nurseries. I just took that inspiration and ran with it. I used my Silhouette Cameo for the major part of the canvases, the shapes! Below the video, I have listed all the shapes I purchased from the Silhouette Online Store so you can purchase any of those if you’d like to do so. The titles were made by me & they are freebies I’ve got in the SP Digi Shop. Feel free to grab those (links also following the video).

Enjoy!
